Your path to the PMP® credential, mapped out clearly

To be eligible for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, you must show certain educational and professional experience requirements. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last 10 years, in a professional setting, prior to your application submission. As defined in the PMBOK® Guide, a project is a temporary initiative in a unique context undertaken to create value.

In addition to one of the four paths below, applicants must also have 35 hours of project management education, unless you are an active CAPM® holder — in which case the training requirement is waived.
